Pearl Jam performed their Gigaton track “Dance of the Clairvoyants” live for the first time during the All in WA COVID-19 relief concert last Wednesday (June 24).
It was also Pearl Jam’s first live performance in about two years.
The members of the band performed from their respective homes. Guitarist Stone Gossard played bass, while bassist Jeff Ament played guitar and keyboards. Matt Cameron and Mike McCready turned in with their usual instruments, playing the drums and guitar, respectively.
Eddie Vedder was there, along with his daughters and wife, creating a club atmosphere that went well with the song and the dance movements.
The performance also featured former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who was due to support the band on their international tour this year.
The All in WA fundraiser also featured appearances from several other artists, including Sleater-Kinney, Macklemore, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Ben Gibbard, Dave Matthews, Brandi Carlile and Ciara.
Funds raised will benefit a variety of organizations helping workers, families and communities hit hardest by COVID-19 throughout Washington state.
