Kelly Clarkson & Brandi Carlile Team Up To Cover ‘Poison & Wine’
Kelly Clarkson recently teamed up with Brandi Carlile for a moving cover of The Civil Wars‘ powerful “Poison & Wine.”
Carlile made a virtual appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Friday, August 21, and joined Clarkson for her popular “Kellyoke” segment.
“This is one of my favorite moments singing that I have experienced in my entire existence on this planet,” Clarkson posted on Twitter along with a video of the performance. “I am honestly embarrassed at how many times I’ve watched this.”
Clarkson has previously expressed her admiration for Carlile and performed a cover of her song “The Joke” while on tour earlier this year.
“I love Brandi Carlile. If you get a chance to see her live, it is amazing. She’s so inspiring and just talented and just a really rad human,” Clarkson said of Carlile at the time.
