Keith Urban revealed an all-star list of collaborators, including Eric Church, P!nk, Breland and Nile Rodgers, for his new album The Speed of Now Part 1.
“Out The Cage” features Breland and legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers, “One Too Many” features P!nk, and “We Were” features Eric Church.
Speaking about the album, which is set to release on September 18, Urban said that when he collaborates he always looks for that “third thing.”
“There’s what I do, there’s what my collaborator does and then there’s this ‘third thing’ that I’m most curious about,” the New Zealand-born Australian singer-songwriter said in a press release.
“That’s what interests me the most – when the sum of the parts becomes even more than what I envisioned. That’s what I love so much about it: finding common ground, shaping it and bringing it together,” he added.
Selena Gomez has confirmed that she is teaming up with South Korean girl band Blackpink for a new single.
“So SO excited to announce @BlackPinkOfficial and I have a new song coming out August 28th,” the pop star wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, August 11.
The announcement comes just a week after YG Entertainment teased a secret collaboration. The upcoming song will follow Blackpink’s record-breaking single, “How You Like That.”
Blackpink’s highly anticipated debut studio album will be arriving on October 2 via YG Entertainment/Interscope Records.
Miley Cyrus has dropped her highly anticipated new single, “Midnight Sky,” along with a self-directed video.
“It’s been a long night and the mirror is tellin’ me to go home/ But it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good on my own/ Nine years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes/ Forever and ever, no more,” she sings in the new track.
The new track follows Cyrus emotional ballad “Slide Away” and her Charlies Angels collaboration, “Don’t Call Me Angel” with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey in 2019.
Meanwhile, Cyrus has not yet revealed the release date for She Is Miley Cyrus, a follow-up to her 2019 EP She Is Coming.

Bruno Mars has opened up about his struggles with songwriting and asked Rihanna whether he could join her beauty brand Fenty Skin as a model.
On Monday, August 3, Mars tweeted, “Sometimes I get so frustrated writing music I look in the mirror and say to myself ‘I should’ve been a model.’”
He followed that with a tweet to Rihanna, writing, “Yo @rihanna I’d like to submit some of my headshots for your Fenty Skin Campaign. I just took some new ones that I’m really proud of.”
Bruno’s last album was 2016’s 24K Magic, which won Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Needless to say, we’re ready for a new Bruno Mars album!
Dua Lipa is gearing up to release Club Future Nostalgia, a remixed version of her No. 1 sophomore album.
The new collection features collaborations with a host of musicians, most of whom, as one Twitter user pointed out, have been role-models for the singer herself, including Madonna, Gwen Stefani, and Missy Elliott, among others.
In a tweet, Lipa also revealed that one week prior to the release of the entire collection on August 21, a remastered version of “Levitating,” produced by Madonna and featuring herself as well as Elliott will be released.
Also included in the project is a new spin on the song “Physical,” remastered by the music producer, Mark Ronson, and featuring Stefani.
“On the real tho sooo psyched to be on this DUA project,” Ronson shared on Twitter. “I can’t wait for you all to hear this ‘Physical’ remix I spent half of lockdown working on. @gwenstefani sounds so good. PLUS I’M IN A TWEET WITH @MissyElliott!!!”
The singer also attached a portion of a collage of all the musicians who have been featured in the new project, and some Twitter users have guessed that the slender leg visible on the leftward edge of the picture may belong to Normani, whom Lipa previously revealed she collaborated with during an interview with Andy Cohen.

Sam Smith has released a brand-new collaborative single with Nigerian singer Burna Boy, titled “My Oasis.”
“This track has been a beautiful release of emotions for me during this time,” Smith shared in a press release. “I’ve been a fan of Burna Boy for years now and am so happy to have a tune with him.”
“Oh, babe, I really need you (Need you, oh baby)/My feelings/gettin’ deeper (Deeper)/My mind is in a free fall (Free fall)/But there’s nothing I can do when it comes to you,” Smith croons in the chorus of the entrancing melody.
“Hello all. My new song with @burnaboy ‘My Oasis’ is officially out. I hope you love it like I do…Miss you and sending buckets of cyber love to you all x” the singer tweeted.
Meanwhile, Smith’s fans continue to await the release of their 4th studio album; originally titled To Die For, the record was scheduled to drop on May 1 but has been pushed back until further notice, as Smith revealed that releasing it amid a global pandemic did not feel right to them.
